I've read some 'bad' reviews on this place but honestly, there's no way they're legitimate. All the staff were welcoming, accommodating and friendly. The bartenders were not only knowledgeable but could easily make you a personalised drink after a couple of orders. They were happy to give you small samples to help you order, and would make you any mix you wanted. Over all, the BEST bar I've been to in Edinburgh in the 20 years I've lived here.

Best cocktail bar in Edinburgh imo. The drinks are great - try the Hotel Cuba for sure - and prices are certainly competitive. I try to go here at least once each time I'm in Edinburgh.

We went on a Sunday, it's quite an intimate cocktail bar and the drinks tasted great and looked the part. They have a selection of house cocktails which is what we had and both were thoroughly enjoyable. It was quiet when we went but I imagine it will be busy on Friday and Saturday.

best cocktails in town, dimmed lights, real playlists, and the best bar crew in Edinburgh. they take the piss out of me shouting “there he is ” everytime i pull that door open. but it’s the best and most communal spot i’ve found in town. tip these guys accordingly

Great vibes and amazing cocktails! Loved the ambiance here. A friend recommended this spot knowing I’m a big Negroni fan — and what’s better than a good Negroni? A 5 Negroni! We absolutely loved it here and will definitely be back.

5 negronis. Enough said..? Place is really chill and cosy. Very nice area with excellent decor. Lovely wee curtains separating two different spaces within the bar. Great for dates as it’s a very intimate space, and won’t absolutely break the bank (unless your like me and buy 40 negronis). Absolutely lovely staff just don’t try and boot the toilet door down, there’s only one of them . Cheers
